Flu Jab Benefits
Flu, a contagious virus, can be prevented effectively with a flu shot, safeguarding not only you but also those around you. Our pharmacists provide consultations to ensure the vaccine's safety and address any questions.

NHS Free Flu Jabs
Certain groups, like those over 50, pregnant, or at high clinical risk, qualify for free NHS flu shots. If ineligible, our pharmacy offers affordable private vaccinations.

Need a flu jab? Just speak to our staff; we usually offer the vaccine on a walk-in basis.

Our pharmacy provides a free NHS service for blood pressure checks, crucial for detecting and managing hypertension, a condition often undiagnosed in over 5 million people. Simply visit us for a quick, in-store blood pressure measurement.

Here's how it works:
Our pharmacist conducts a brief consultation, checks your blood pressure, and offers personalized advice.

For elevated readings, we may recommend Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM). This involves wearing a device for 24 hours to continuously monitor your blood pressure. Results are analyzed in a follow-up appointment, where we give lifestyle guidance or suggest consulting your GP, if necessary.

Ask our staff if you're eligible for this vital health service.

The morning-after pill, an emergency contraceptive, is taken post-unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. It’s best used immediately after intercourse. Our pharmacist will assess your suitability through a brief questionnaire.

Available Options
We offer two emergency contraceptives: Levonelle, effective within 72 hours, and EllaOne, usable up to 120 hours after unprotected sex.

Consultation Process
During your visit, our pharmacist will guide you in selecting the appropriate pill. Remember, the morning-after pill is intended for occasional, not regular use.

Need the pill? Just speak with our staff and fill out a short questionnaire. The pharmacist will review it and either provide the pill or refer you to another service if necessary.
